Here's a photo of a real Affenpinscher. His name is Cosmo

When folks ask me, "What breed of dog is Brandee?" I don't have an answer. Look at Cosmo. He was our first Affenpinscher. We know he's full Affenpinscher because his uncle won Best in Class at the Westminster Dog Show in 2002 (he's is no longer with us).

Now look at Brandee. Unlike an Affenpinscher, her nose is long, her tail fans out. She might be part Shih-tzu?  I really don't know.

I know we thought we had an Affenpinsher. Now the only things I'm sure of are that we have a high-strung, funny, party-animal that would bark at babies in strollers if we didn't police her!!
